Origin

These apples come from organic farms which are located in typically fruit-growing regions in Germany. The Elstar variety is a cross between the Ingrid Marie and Golden Delicious varieties. The apples have a sweet but also acidic aroma. We press our apples to 100 % direct juice.

Expertise

The Elstar is a rather fresh and light juice. The nose shows aromas of citrus, guava, hay flowers and firm flesh, yellow apples. The palate is alive with a crisp acidity as subtly salty minerality, which give the juice a pleasant tart taste. The subtle sweetness is well integrated and transmits the yellow fruit such as grassy-fresh flavors. A juice with slim body, a pleasant freshness and almost dry finish. Because of the slim, lightweight body, the juice can be drunk pure. Who would like to emphasize the freshness and lightness of the juice, can mix it 1 : 1 with carbonated water. This juice also fits with light fish dishes as fried perch on steamed ve-getables or sea bream with fennel vegetables but also to light poultry dishes such as turkey breast on lemon risotto. The juice may seem like a slightly bitter Riesling fits with fish dishes like poached cod in olive oil with spring vegetables or appetizers like tuna carpaccio and tartare that was not seasoned vigorously.
